Is it true that I can get a new crown in just one visit?

We’ve treated people from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin, so we know that they all have two things in common. They want their dental visits to be comfortable (for the ultimate in comfort, learn more about sedation dentistry), and convenient. In the interest of convenience we’ve brought in an incredible piece of technology called Cerec.

What could be more convenient than fewer appointments? Using our Cerec unit, we can now do many procedures that used to take two appointments, in just one appointment. Cerec is actually CadCam technology, which is basically a computerized dental lab, right in our office. Instead of the old way, where we give you “temporaries”, and wait for a dental lab to fabricate the permanent restoration, we can now make crowns, inlays, and onlays right here in the office.

So what does that mean for you? That means that we can produce perfectly fitted restorations for you immediately and send you home with your teeth totally restored. There’s no reason to make that follow-up appointment with Dr. Filson two weeks later, because the work is finished and permanent. Now isn’t that convenient?
